Welcome to the Central Bucks Detachment website.  Our Detachment was chartered by the Marine Corps League on January 7, 1987 and the 19 Marines who's names appear below are the original charter members.  Over the years we have grown and today we have almost 65 members that make up our roster.   We meet the second Wednesday of each month at the American Legion Post 210, 315 North St. in Doylestown, PA at 1930 hours.  The Detachment participates in varied functions throughout the year for the good of the Detachment, the League and our community.  To join as a regular member, you must have served in the U.S. Marine Corps for at least 90 days and have been discharged under anything but dishonorable conditions.  If you are a U.S. Navy Corpsman or Chaplain that served with a Marine unit for at least 90 days earning the the USMC Field Device, you are also eligible to join as a regular member.  If you do not meet these conditions, but believe in the Marine Corps traditions and values, you may be eligible to join as an Associate member.  Dues are $35.00 for first time applications and renewals are $30.00.   Please see the Join the League for more information.
